Decluttering Food Storage

I am a recovering Tupperware addict! I love the stuff. The way the lids stayed on, the fun colors, and ever changing styles!

A few years ago we bought our new home and I decided to purge the cabinets and pantry as I packed for the move. I didn't want to move anything that we didn't love/use/need.

I pulled my collection of Tupperware out of the cabinets and pantry and laid it out onto the table and I was really dumbfounded. First of all half of it was never used. Several pieces were missing lids, and none of them really stacked or fit together. They took up so much space.

A friend from my local moms group suggested selling it all and buying the Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid food storage system.

This is all of the containers that fit on one shelf in my kitchen cabinet.
I love how they stack so well, saving space in the fridge too!
They stack on top of their lids and nest inside one another, fitting several containers in one stack!
I have 3 different versions. The original red easy find lids, which as you can see have staining from years of use.
The green produce saver has inserts to allow your produce to rest above the condensation in the containers, making it fresher for longer.
The gray premier food storage are made from a hard plastic that is stain resistant. It's great for red sauces!
I place the largest containers in the back of the cabinet shelf as they are used less frequently.
I stack the smaller, more frequently used containers, in front for easy access.

If you are short on storage space in your kitchen, are downsizing, or getting ready to put your home up for sale and want your kitchen space to show at its decluttering best, I highly recommend you donate your hodge podge of food storage containers and buy something that takes up less space!

And if you are in the market to buy or sell I would love the opportunity to work with you! You can message me at L.Latinovich@gmail.com
